VOCAL ENSEMBLE

  Table for 5

“…voices like hot buttered rum.” “Exciting harmonies…velvety tones…collectively and individually, this is a terrific group!”
Judith Reinert, The Kane County Chronicle

“Professional, talented, and engaging…..real crowd pleasers.”
Robert Hanson, Musical Director, Elgin Symphony Orchestra

“…Refreshingly different and well polished vocal performance…the crowd was enthusiastically on their feet!”
Melvin Rookus, Nardin Park Arts Series

“We enjoyed having Table for 5 here for our ‘Sounds of the 60s’ concert. They were great to work with, and we especially appreciated their willingness to work with local school students. Our audience really enjoyed the concert – it was fun and upbeat, and brought back lots of memories. I hope we can work with them again in the future!”
Brian Obitz, Artistic Administrator, West Shore Symphony

“Table for 5 is a polished singing ensemble that distinguishes itself by way of its musicality, adaptability and interpretive skills. I have always marveled at their ability to take creative ideas and run with them. These are talented individuals with unique, yet complementary temperaments. The ensemble is adept at presenting a multitude of musical styles, while conveying their joy at performing to an audience.”
Dorothy-Jean Lloyd, Elgin Symphony Orchestra, Stage Director

Chicago based vocal quintet Table for 5—Roger Anderson, Heather Braoudakis, Jeff Duke, Kathryn Kamp, and Amy Pickering--enchants audiences with its unique vocal harmonies and musical styling on the concert stage. The quintet began its tenure with the creation of the holiday concert A Victorian Christmas, which attracted sellout houses through the Chicago area and established the group as an audience favorite.

This initial success prompted the group to expand its repertoire to include The American Songbook, Broadway hits, and groovy tunes from the 1960s and beyond. Table for 5 has been featured with numerous symphony orchestras including the Elgin Symphony, West Shore Symphony, and Ohio Northern Symphony. The ensemble has performed throughout the Midwest in concert series at Grand Valley State University, Hanover College, and Saginaw Valley State University, as well as in the Colby Arts Council’s community concert series. Table for 5 has been featured in cabaret series at the Metropolis Performing Arts Center, Wilmette Theater, and Davenports’ Cabaret in Chicago.

Table for 5’s extensive repertoire has also led to performances of notable civic and
corporate organizations including Motorola, Morton, Inc., Saks Fifth Avenue, MCL Management, and the Easter Seals Telethon.

Collectively the group boasts individual credits from the professional musical theater to featured artists at major venues across the United States. Table for 5 ensemble members have performed at The Goodman Theater, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Marriott Theater, Drury Lane Theater, Chicago Symphony Center, The Grant Park and Ravinia Summer Music Festivals, The Lyric Opera, Light Opera Works, The Muddy River Opera, The Denver Center for the Performing Arts as well as aboard Royal Viking and Royal Caribbean cruise lines.
