Laura Hynes Smith and PAA soloist Audrey Luna team up as the dynamic duo - Détour de force - to perform music that is both familiar and foreign in an atmosphere that is interactive, theatrical and spontaneous. With humor and humility, Détour de Force invites the listener to share the beauty and power of song in a soulfully entertaining atmosphere.

Their careers span 5 continents. Singing opera, oratorio, new music, jazz, cabaret, musical theatre and art song, they have performed in [*big breath*]: England, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Argentina, China, Israel, Mexico, Belgium, Portugal, Scotland, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Austria, Switzerland, Canada and the US, in and out of the most famous concert halls and opera houses (and a few bars).

If that is not enough, they have worked with conductors and artists such as [*fasten your seatbelts*]: Jesús López-Cobos, Anthony Pappano, William Christie, Helmut Rilling, Niklaus Harnoncourt, John Corigliano, Chen Yi, Stephen Cleobury, the Hagen Quartet, James Tocco, Walter Levin, Frederica von Stade, Dawn Upshaw, Barry Manilow, Kenny Loggins (and numerous other very famous people). From singing for ambassadors and presidents to appearing on television with Bozo the Clown, these two have got something special up their sleeves, and they’re not afraid to use it.
