Great Lakes Caravan Video

The Great Lakes Caravan brings our roster artists into schools for educational visits. These occur in conjunction with a concert at a community venue. Caravan musicians can work within orchestra, band, or choir departments, as well as with the school at large. Custom programs could include performances, sectionals, coachings, masterclasses, or side-by-side performances.

Great Lakes Caravan events come in many shapes and sizes and are funded in creative and flexible ways. Please explore our letter to donors.

This was a wonderful opportunity for our students. The assemblies were excellent and tailored to our primary and upper elementary grades. The musicians taught the children about their instruments and played their selections beautifully. The Hot Club of Detroit also complemented our fifth graders’ recent study of the Harlem Renaissance and their performance of the musical We Haz Jazz. We thank you for making this possible and know that our students appreciated the music and the expertise of the musicians.
